Leather
Leather is one of the first tones in perfumes. The aroma molecule, isobutyl quinoline, has a radiant, intense leather character and is often used to add a leather note to a fragrance. It is very strong and long lasting; when used in small amounts it adds elegance, depth and character.
Aroma: In darker leather perfumes you can smell notes like smoky, almost burnt (birch tar), animalic (castoreum), salty, woody (oud) and balsamic (styrax).
✅Leather has also found its place in the perfumery industry.
