Chery

The cherry tree brings forth a beautiful blossoming cherry tree in the spring with its pink and white blossoms. The perfume industry mainly uses a synthetic benzaldehyde-based cherry note, which is why it feels bittersweet like almond and musk, with which it forms a great partnership.

Aroma: A big whiff of cherry aroma gives you the fresh sweet scent of Maraschino Cherries. It's a food inspired fragrance and it smells like a sweet cherry pie. It perfectly balances between sweetness and acidity.

Description: Common cherry grows to a height of around 10 m. The crown of the tree is conical to spherical. The twigs are pendulous at the end; the leaves are alternate, shiny and slightly ovate. White flowers grow in clusters. The fruits are dark red drupes. Blooms in early May. Striking red and plump cherries are hard to resist. Their season in the summer lasts only a short time. Only the ripe ones must be harvested, as they no longer ripen after plucking. Cherries spoil quickly and are not suitable for long storage. They can be kept in the fridge for a maximum of two to three days.
