Damask rose
DAMASCUS ROSE: (Latin Rosa Damascena) is one of the most valuable plants in the world, when it was also used as currency.
Damask rose originally comes from Persia, today it is grown mainly in Bulgaria, Iran, Turkey and Morocco.
USE:
✅In cosmetics, we find an essential oil obtained by distillation (rose water is produced as a by-product), which is called OTTO or attar and is one of the highest quality rose essential oils. Three to five tons of rose petals are needed to produce 1 kg of EO. Lower-quality rose oil is obtained by maceration (infusion in fat - e.g. in vegetable oil), which is called absolute. Pink wax can also be obtained from flower petals.
✅Pink wax: has a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system and supports blood circulation. It softens the skin, smooths out fine lines and wrinkles, strengthens, significantly regenerates and soothes.
✅It also has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibacterial, disinfectant and antioxidant effects and relieves muscle spasms.
