Carnation

Carnation - garden clove comes from the Mediterranean region as a wild plant. In our conditions, it is grown in greenhouses or flower beds and is used as a cut flower for bouquets. It has a spicy aroma with an undertone of aromatic clove spice. The origin of the carnation is in the current territory of Japan and China. A number of other species of these beautiful flowers are found in a wide range of territories and continents, both in Africa, Europe and especially in Asia.

Carnations are among the longest-cultivated ornamental flowers in human history, and therefore a huge number of colour variations or varieties are known. They all come from a native, wild-growing plant.
