Candy floss

Cotton candy is a special kind of candy that is made up of a typical light, airy mass of different colours depending on the dye used. It looks and feels similar to cotton wool. It is made by melting crystalline sugar into caramel, which is then poured into a drum where it cools down and turns into sugar again. The resulting weak fibres are then wound on a stick and served for consumption. This is a popular fairground sweet sold at stalls. A common colour of cotton candy is pink, but you can also buy blue, green, etc.
