Bulgarian rose

Since ancient times, the rose has been a symbol of beauty. And it is the climate and soil in Bulgaria that offer the most favorable conditions for the cultivation of roses and the subsequent production of products from them of the highest quality.

The useful properties of products made from roses are extensive. However, the most valuable ones are obtained by steam distillation during the processing of fresh roses - rose oil and rose water.

For this purpose, the flowers are collected very early in the morning, they are harvested only by hand, and the processing must take place as quickly as possible. For one drop of expensive oil, 30 roses are needed, and for 1 kilogram of oil, on average, 3 tons. This makes rose oil one of the most expensive in the world. It contains more than 250 components that have not yet been fully explored. At room temperature, the oil is liquid, but upon slight cooling it can form crystals, because it contains 70% liquid and 30% solid particles. It has a light yellow-green colour and a full and rich aroma that can surprise you with its durability.

USE:

✅Traditionally, essential oil, rose water and rose dye have been produced from it for several centuries and are used in cosmetics, in pharmacy, in the production of perfumes, but also in the food industry.
