Watery Notes
Category of smells of ocean water (sea)" Water tones" resemble the smell of water itself, or the smell of aquatic plants. They are clean and fresh tones ideal for daily wear.
These aquatic tones started to be created only 25 years ago. They are characterized by a transparent, invigorating and fresh sound of cold water. At first, aquatic fragrances consisted only of natural extracts of freesia, citrus fruits and green apples, but with the development of technology for the synthesis of natural scents using man-made molecules, notes of sea salt, water and fresh air appeared. Today, to create the effect of a sea or water scent, notes of cucumbers, water lilies, honeysuckle, melon and grapes are added. Perfumes with imitation of pure water are rarely used. This fragrance category is added to reveal more complex natural floral or fruity perfumes.
