Tuberose

The tuberous tuber (Polianthes tuberosa), white flower or night hyacinth (night hyacinth) is a plant with an exceptional, sweet and intoxicating fragrance, strikingly similar to a juicy peach.

The most famous area, where it is abundantly cultivated for the production of scented oils, is the south of France. For the production of 1 ml. perfume oil requires 8 kg of flowers, therefore this essential oil is very expensive and added to luxurious and sensual perfumes.

Aroma: tuberose is very contrasting, on the one hand joyful and fresh, but also sensual and carnal. Tuberose serves to relieve stress and deepens emotional perception. It has earned a very important place in cosmetics and perfumery.
