Sage

Medicinal sage - the name "Salvia" officinalis comes from the Latin word "salvare", which means to heal.

Medicinal sage has been known for its wide use since the Middle Ages. Sage was already used in ancient Rome.

And today, especially in Italy, this herb has also found its place in the kitchen.

USE:

✅Substances contained in medicinal sage benefit the healthy functioning of the respiratory tract, natural defences and the normal digestive process.

✅Many types of essential oils are used in aromatherapy and cosmetics.

✅ Sage essential oil obtained by steam distillation of dry stems of "medicinal sage" has a spicy, sweet herbal, camphor aroma, and is therefore very often used as an ingredient in men's cosmetics and perfumes.
