Artemisia

Artemisia It is a slightly bitter herb with a strong smell known as Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) it is a perennial, up to 120 cm tall, woody herb with leafy stems, ending in loose panicles of yellow grapes.

Occurrence: Wormwood comes from the temperate zone of Europe and Asia. It often hibernates and is then found in uncultivated locations, along roads, wastelands, embankments, garbage dumps and rocky slopes.

Aroma: Artemisia absinthium is a very "green", sharp, bitter herbal aromatic element with an aroma reminiscent of absinthe and vermouth

Use:

Because of its aromatic scent, it is often used in the cosmetics and perfumery industry, where it is added to men's fragrances to bring balance to floral tones.
