Angelica

Medicinal angelica is a biennial to perennial powerful herb. The botanical name Archangelica is derived from the Latin archangelus, meaning "archangel". It is said to have received its name according to the legend based on which an angel showed people this miraculous and powerful healing plant. It is popularly called ginseng of poverty or devil's root, which describes its stimulating effects. It thrives best in a cold climate.
