Aroma: It has a typical sweet, slightly herbal aroma that stands out in combination with the classic resinous aroma of incense.

Occurrence: Myrrh, like frankincense, is a resinous, solidified sap from the myrrh tree. Commiphora myrha grows in the Arabian Peninsula, Ethiopia, Somalia and India. Myrrh is also harvested in Oman, but to a much lesser extent than frankincense.
